My husband was told to leave the U.S. right before I got pregnant. He left and I went through my pregnancy alone and now have a beautiful 6 month old girl that has never met her father. The INS keeps giving us time frames that are never correct. We have been married for 5 years and now he is just waiting for his interview (meanwhile was working illegally and got caught...everything is a mess and I do not know how much more I can take)...anyway, any advice or support would be great. It is no wonder why there are so many illegals.

I feel your pain also. My husband was just denied a visa to come home too. We have been away from each other for 5 years. I have no idea what to do. It seems there should be a solution. We can't afford to start a new life in another country and my husband doesn't make enough to support us where he is at right now. These laws have to change. I understand the government wants to control immigration but in the process they've kept families apart. It's not right and I am outraged!

Hi, I'm in 8th grade and I am doing a project about immigration. We have to make up a person and a story and tell about how our person immigrated to the USA. Now this is a little weird because my story is kind of like yours, and in the end of my story my little girl was about 12 years old until she met her father. So I would have to tell you to just hang in there and sooner or later your little girl and her father will meet some way or another. But don't worry.
