I just want to know something. I totally understand that people should not enter illegally. But this is what I know for certain. If our neighbor, Mexico, was the place to go for jobs. I would definitely attempt to enter the Mexico via legal process. But if that failed or took too long, you can bet that I would be crossing the border. It is one thing to 10 year bar someone (preferably longer) if they committed heinous crimes like murder, carjacking, and such. But to bar for 10 years just because they were desperate is just plain stupid. There should be no bar for the desperate.

As I read through these stories, I see people who are blaming The United States of America for THEIR difficulties with living in a country ILLEGALLY! Millions of people go through years of paper work to make their migration to this wonderful country of opportunity. Now if you break a law just entering the country, how can you possibly expect to take advantage of what America has to offer. Do you think it’s fair to expect a foreign government to help your cause, even though you did not go through the effort of legalizing your choice to come here? These are just some things I would like to bring to light to the "victims" of the government from The Greatest Nation on God's Green Earth.
